Who We Are – Progressive Universal Society – PROUS

Who We Are

Progressive Universal Society (PROUS) is a worldwide non-profit organization with it headquarters in India. It envisions a society where all individuals are healthy, economically self-sufficient and free from exploitation. Everyone should be given a scope to realize one’s full potential.

PROUS asserts the principles of social harmony as a natural consequence of spiritual practices found in yogic morality. Applications of such principles are reflected in our various institutions sustained by its self-supporting programs.

PROUS philosophy and practices stage beyond all forms of religions, caste, race and social background. PROUS provides support, shelter and assistance to those in need by providing:

  • Affordable or free education, housing and access to health care
  • Training opportunities and tools for economic self-sufficiency
  • Awareness of health across all life domains – physical health, mental health and spiritual health
  • Financial assistance to victims of violence and neglect
