ACHARYA DHARMAPREMANANDA AVADHUTA, President

Acharya Dharmapremananda Avadhuta is currently the president and founding member of “Progressive Universal Society,” an NGO running free or charitable services in the fields of education and health in rural part of India. He sits on the Board of “Ananda Marga Gurukul,” an NGO having similar objectives.

Acharya Dharmapremananda Avadhuta, also known as Dada Dharmapremananda, is a spiritual teacher and a senior Sanyasi (monk) of Ananda Marga, a global spiritual and social service movement founded by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji in 1955.

Acharya Dharmapremananda Avadhuta has been a disciple of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji since 1989 and has dedicated his life to promoting Ananda Marga’s spiritual and social mission. He has traveled extensively around the world to teach meditation, yoga, and spiritual philosophy, and has authored several articles on socio-spiritual topics that are published in various journals and magazines. He also appeared in several radio talk shows in India and others countries, speaking extensively on spiritual subjects.

He has also played a leading role in Ananda Marga’s social service activities, including running schools, hospitals, and community development projects in many parts of the world. He has been recognized for his contributions to society and has received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Award in January, 2023. He has also been honored with “Doctorate in Economics” by SAYU University Coimbatore for his outstanding contributions to the humanity.

AVADHUTIKA ANANDA HITAESANA ACHARYA, Secretary

Avadhutika Ananda Hitaesana Acharya is currently the secretary and founding member of “Progressive Universal Society,” an NGO running free or charitable services in the fields of education and health in rural part of India.

Avadhutika Ananda Hitaesana Acharya is a senior female monk in the Ananda Marga organization. Ananda Marga is a global spiritual and social service organization founded in 1955 by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (also known as Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar) in Jamalpur, Bihar, India.

Avadhutika Ananda Hitaesana Acharya joined Ananda Marga in the 1990 and has been serving the society since then. She has held various leadership positions within various social-service organizations and has also conducted spiritual retreats, seminars, and workshops in many countries around the world. She is known for her dedicated service to the organization and for her commitment to spreading the spiritual teachings.

DR. ACHARYA SHUDDHACHITTANANDA AVADHUTA, Managing Director

DR. Acharya Shuddhachittananda Avadhuta is currently the managing director and founding member of “Progressive Universal Society,” an NGO running free or charitable services in the fields of education and health in rural part of India.

DR. Acharya Shuddhachittananda Avadhuta is also a senior monk in the Ananda Marga organization. Ananda Marga is a global spiritual and social service organization founded in 1955 by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (also known as Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar) in Jamalpur, Bihar, India.

DR. Acharya Shuddhachittananda Avadhuta has been a disciple of Shrii Shrii Ananda Murtiji since 1970 and has fully dedicated his life in 1990 to Ananda Marga mission and has held various leadership positions within the organization. He has traveled around the world to teach yoga, meditation and socio spiritual philosophy given by Shrii Shrii Ananda Murtiji. He has also conducted several service activities, spiritual retreats, seminars, and workshops in many countries around the world, and is known for his engaging teaching style and his emphasis on the practical application of spiritual practices in daily life.

DR. Acharya Shuddhachittananda Avadhuta is a highly accomplished individual who has achieved significant academic and spiritual success in his life. With a Bachelor of Engineering (civil) and Ph.D. in Economics, he brings a unique combination of scholarly knowledge and spiritual wisdom to his work.
