The Progressive Universal Society at Dehra Mod, Rajasthan also runs a Gaushala or Cow Shelter, which is dedicated to the care and protection of desi cows. The Gaushala provides a safe and nurturing environment for old and abandoned cows that would otherwise be left to wander the streets. These cows are given a home where they can live out their remaining years in peace and comfort.

The Gaushala is staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers who provide round-the-clock care for the cows. They are provided with nutritious food, clean water, and comfortable living quarters, ensuring that they are healthy and happy.
