Children’s Home (Bal Grih)
The Orphanage Home project run by the Progressive Universal Society in Dehra Mod, Rajasthan is a remarkable initiative aimed at providing a safe and nurturing environment for orphaned or abandoned children. The project is unique in that it is spiritual in nature, with a focus on promoting holistic development of children in all three spheres of life – physical, mental, and spiritual. The children are taught to meditate and do yoga twice a day, which helps to promote their mental and spiritual well-being, allowing them to develop a sense of inner peace and balance.
The children in the Children’s home are cared for by spiritual-minded people who provide them with a loving and supportive environment, where they can grow and thrive. The caregivers are trained in providing emotional support and guidance to the children, helping them to navigate the challenges of their daily lives. This care and support help to create a sense of belonging and community among the children, fostering a sense of connection and compassion.
In addition to providing for the basic needs of the children, the Orphanage Home project also places a strong emphasis on education. The children receive top-quality education that incorporates ancient spiritual values, providing them with a well-rounded education that prepares them for the challenges of the modern world. The project is a testament to the Progressive Universal Society’s commitment to creating a more compassionate and inclusive society, where every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.
